We’ll walk you through your preparations for Career Calling step by step, answer your questions, and take a look at the event platform my.careercalling.at, so you can prepare as effectively as possible.

There are two alternative dates to choose from—both cover the same topics:

Company profile

Your company profile makes your company visible at my.careercalling.at. Please fill it out between May 22 and September 2
From May 22, you can log in with the following:
 

  • Username: firstname.surname
  • Password (for first-time login): can be obtained via the “Reset password” function

If you would like other colleagues to have access to the profile, please send us their names and e-mail addresses to: office(at)careercalling(dot)at – we will be happy to take care of it.

  • Addition: We will add your stand number to your company profile—so students and graduates can immediately see where they can find you at VIECON. 
  • Subsidiary companies/holding companies: You are also welcome to present companies that are economically related to you (co-exhibitors) via company profile at Career Calling—at no extra cost. Please use the form to let us know which companies you would like us to create profiles for.

Jobs

At Career Calling, you can publish as many job ads as you like. However, there are a few requirements to be met, so that we can publish your listing:
 

  1. Salary: Since the indication of a salary is mandatory by law in Austria, a specific salary information must be available (a MUST for job ads in Austria!).
  2. Gender: Each job ad must include all genders (a MUST for job ads in Austria!).
  3. Target group: The ads must be aimed directly at students, graduates, and/or young professionals in the fields of study of business, law, engineering, natural or human sciences. Apprentices, high school graduates, or senior professionals are not the target group of Career Calling!

Jobs will be visible starting September 2 (when students and graduates get access to the event platform)—and can be added to or modified at any time.

TIP: Don't forget to actively get in touch with suitable talent in the talent database from October 5.
Job wall

You are welcome to bring all your internships and jobs printed out (A4) to the Career Calling fair at VIECON and post them on our job wall.

IMPORTANT: The jobs you pre-post will not automatically be presented on the job wall - feel free to bring them in your company layout to allow for quick recognition by students.

 

Complete stand 6, 8 or 12 m2

You purchased a complete stand from us! With this "all-round carefree package", we take care of the setting, materials, fair walls, carpet, etc. - and all you need to bring along are staff, goodies, and a good mood.

You will find your complete stand cleaned and ready for decoration the day before the fair in VIECON, hall D.

Stand equipment

The stands are equipped with the folllowing:
 

  • Size: 6, 8 or 12 m2

Your stand is furnished according to stand size and has a power connection with 3-way distributor.

Graphics

To individualize your stand, you can attach custom graphic features (included in the price!). For this, we need your print data until September 9:
 

  • 6 m²: An info desk front panel is included.
  • 8 m²: Single artwork for 1 panel is included.
  • 12 m²: Single artwork for 2 panels is included.

IMPORTANT: Please remember that the deadline is September 9; otherwise, your stand won't be branded!

 

The following applies for the setup and dismantling of your complete stand:

Setup: Tue, Oct. 13, 2026, 08:00-16:00

Your complete stand will be ready and available for decoration beginning at 8:00 on Tuesday.

IMPORTANT: The stand must be accepted by you by 16:00 on Tuesday - any complaints can then be quickly resolved. After that, unfortunately, no more. On the morning of October 14, 2026, there will be no vehicle access to the exhibition hall. All materials you still need for the fair day must be brought onto the exhibition grounds via the visitor entrance by 8:00 a.m. For safety reasons, no further deliveries or entry of materials via this route will be permitted after 8:00 a.m.

Dismantling: Wed, Oct. 14, 2026, 17:30-22:00

Please make sure to remove all decorative elements and materials (goodies, roll-ups, etc.) after the Career Calling fair by 22:00, otherwise they will be removed at the expense of the respective exhibitor.

If you would like to take your graphics panels (information desk, back wall) with you after the fair, please let us know in advance by emailing us at office(at)careercalling(dot)at.

Access to the fairground

Deliveries for the setup (as well as for the departure) will be made via Trabrennstraße 5, 1020 Vienna, GATE 1 as well as the loading dock C/D (the exhibition hall may not be driven into!). You can find a detailed map here. Access to the exhibition grounds is possible during setup and dismantling times. You will receive a time ticket upon entry and can park for up to 4 hours. If you exceed the time limit, you will have to pay a fee of at least 100 euros upon exit.

Deliveries before the week of the fair

If you would like to have materials delivered before the week of the fair (i.e. up to and including Friday, Oct. 9), this can only be organized for a fee via the DHL warehouse at VIECON.

IMPORTANT: For liability reasons, neither we as organizer nor employees of VIECON can accept shipments and deliveries on site.

 

Possible decoration

You can bring the following materials on October 14 to equip your stand:
 

  • Roll-ups (for stands up to 8 m2 we recommend max. 1 roll-up)
  • Brochures, information materials
  • Goodies (We recommend lasting goodies that you would be happy to receive yourself. Recommended: 200-500 pieces)
  • Printed job ads

IMPORTANT: Please note that all advertising materials (except paper and wood) must have appropriate test certificates.

IMPORTANT: On the morning of October 14, 2026, there will be no vehicle access to the exhibition hall. All materials you still need for the fair day must be brought onto the exhibition grounds via the visitor entrance by 8:00 a.m. For safety reasons, no further deliveries or entry of materials via this route will be permitted after 8:00 a.m.

Insurance

The participation fee does not include insurance for the items brought into the exhibition stand or for the exhibition stand and all other exhibition equipment. Ensure that you have adequate insurance cover regarding your participation in the event: There is an increased risk of loss or theft of items, particularly outside the opening hours of the event and during the setup and dismantling periods. Outside opening hours, you should not leave any valuable items at the stand location or ensure sufficient stand security (on request, office(at)careercalling(dot)at).

WiFi

On the day of the fair, WiFi will be available free of charge throughout the fairgrounds.

Test certificates with the corresponding European standard EN 13501-1 for classes A1 - s1 d0, A2 - s1 d0 and B1 - s1 d0 must be provided for all decorations brought in by you (this includes event furnishings such as seating, exhibition stands, lecterns, etc.). as well as fabric coverings, carpets, roll-ups, pin boards, screens, and air columns (jack in the box) etc.) must be kept ready by you at the exhibition stand on the day of the event for possible inspection by the authorities and must be presented in the event of appropriate inspection.

Stand staffing

Using the rule of thumb of one person for every 4 m2 of exhibition space (e.g., 2 people for 6 or 8 m2, or 3 people for 12 m2, etc.), you are well equipped for the available stand space. Please let us know how many people we can expect using the form.

TIP: 8 hours of interaction at the stand is exhausting - maybe you have the possibility to take turns with other colleagues? An unlimited number of your colleagues can participate in the Career Calling fair (please do not forget to bring your own name tags!).

Admission to the exhibition hall

Directly at the employer information desk in the entrance area, all you and your colleagues need is a business card or the stand number to enter the fairgrounds. You will then receive an exhibitor admission wristband that will allow you to leave and re-enter the fairgrounds. Here, the first person from your company will also receive your pre-ordered parking tickets, lunch vouchers, etc.

TIP: Directly at the entrance there is a cloakroom (free of charge!).

  

IMPORTANT: On the day of the fair, please make sure to arrive at VIECON between 7:00 and 8:00. This will give you enough time for your final preparations until 9:00.

 

By public transport, you can reach the VIECON, hall D, with the U2 station Krieau.

By car, the address is Trabrennstraße 5, 1020 Vienna.

You can order a discounted day ticket until September 9 via form: The parking tickets are valid for a parking duration of 18 hours (at a stretch) and will be charged with the final invoice. When entering parking garage D, please pull a parking ticket. When leaving, please use the parking ticket from your employer folder.

IMPORTANT: Please remember to order your discounted parking ticket by September 9.

 

For the day of the fair, you will receive a beverage pass, and mineral water will be available at no extra charge. You can pick up mineral water at any time from our employer beverage station. Coffee will be available available free of charge from our coffee partner.

For lunch, you can book a classic or vegan bowl at the Panorama Restaurant until September 9.
 

  • 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.: Pick up drinks at any time at the employer beverage station (included in your package).
  • 9:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.: Treat yourself to a Dallmayr coffee in our coffee lounge (included in your package).
  • 11:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m.: Enjoy your lunch at the Panorama restaurant. This year, you can pre-order “meat-based” or “vegan” bowls for an additional fee.

Pre-ordered lunch vouchers, beverage passes, and coffee vouchers, along with any pre-ordered parking tickets, can be picked up at the employer information desk on the day of the fair between 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m.

IMPORTANT: On site you can only book leftover lunch bowls—this could lead to unhappy colleagues. ;-)

 

Talent database

The talent database will be available from October 5 to November 4. You can search for talent both before and after the live day at VIECON and contact suitable candidates.
